Drain Services

What is the drain system?

The drain system is an essential part of your home’s plumbing mechanism. The main drain is part of the basement drain. It collects all the sewer water from the house and directs it to the city drain system outside. The floor drain, which is generally located at the lowest point in your basement and is responsible for collecting spills such as hot water tank leaks and washing machine failures, is a branch line that is connected to the basement drain. Shower drains, sink drains, laundry tub drains, bathtub drains and kitchen sink drain and dishwasher drain all empty into the main drain. These auxiliary drains must receive regular maintenance to keep them clear of soap debris, hair, grease and food particles. When water escapes slowly from any one of these drains, it indicates a plumbing problem – a partial blockage that could lead to a clogged drain if the problem is not addressed. Only a licensed plumber can make an accurate assessment of the problem and make the recommendations required to eliminate the problem.

What if I have a problem with my drain system?

ExpressRooter provides complete diagnostic, repair and maintenance services for your drain system and all your plumbing mechanisms. If the water in any of your bathtubs, showers or sinks is draining slowly, a licensed plumber uses an electric snake to clear away some of the debris that is causing the blockage. Once the trapped water has drained away, the plumbing contractor uses video camera technology to determine exactly where the problem is and what is causing it. The camera sends a magnetic signal to a sewer pipe locator, which determines the depth of the pipe and direction in which it is travelling. If excavation is required, this two-point location system ensures that digging will only occur in the exact location of the problem. There is no guesswork involved. Mess, time and cost are kept to a minimum.

ExpressRooter’s licensed plumbers are highly skilled service technicians who are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Their trucks are equipped to deal with every plumbing emergency, from a small leak to a severe sewer back-up. There is also an excavation crew on standby should digging be required. Whatever your emergency, ExpressRooter fixes it fast and fixes it right – the first time.
